Favorite local spot for a classic breakfast! Love the turkey club with side of eggs and home fries. Also the French toast breakfast is . We'll definitely be back to try more items on the menu. Good coffee and friendly service. What else do you need?

It's very clear that the team here loves their work and sharing their food at the cafe. The servings are huge and good quality. Overall flavor was a little bland, but we loved the experience so much we'll definitely be back and we highly recommend you give them a try. Pictured in the photos are 1/2 servings (they graciously pre-split plates for us without charge when we mentioned we wanted to share).

A seriously delicious country diner out in Whittier. I live over in West LA but was in the area this past weekend and have known about Scotty’s for a while so stopped in for brunch. I was pleasantly surprised with how delicious it was. We were a party of two and had to wait about 10 minutes to be seated but the wait was worth it. It’s in the shopping center so there is a giant free parking lot right in front of the restaurant so there was plenty of easy parking. Inside is quite small, but there are a lot of seating options, but no booths. It is all tables or counter seating. Our server was extremely polite and everything that we ordered came out lightning fast. There was a new girl at the counter though that thought my $45 breakfast was actually $145 and then when I tried to leave a 20% tip, which would’ve been roughly $9.90, she just did $18. No idea where she learned math but just be aware to check your bill. I had heard that this place has really good Chicken Fried Steak and Biscuits so I did the combo of both of them for my meal. I opted for the regular size steak and not the jumbo which I think is plenty big enough especially with the biscuits. The Biscuits were also very good and fluffy and I would definitely recommend both of them. The coffee was also very strong and very tasty and I loved every bit of it. I think the pricing is fair and the portion sizes are very large so I would suggest to anyone in the area searching for a great breakfast or diner.

Food is amazing so good a must try if you live near its like good home cooked better thob y the very clean they treat very nicely restroom are perfect for wheelchairs biscuits and gravy a must try and breaded pork chops

June 2024 update: I returned to Scotty's. My experience this was not as good as last year. Customer service was still excellent and the food tasty. My concern was the hygiene. My knife was dirty on my table, glad I noticed before using, my coffee was not that fresh, the customers sitting next me asked their coffee to be replaced as it was not fresh, and my table was very sticky which is something you don't want to feel when eating. Like all food establishments, it cost money to eat out but you Scotty's give you bang for the buck as the food portions exceeded my expectations. The place could use an update, it's not run down but it's aging. Overall, good experience, family-owned business, and I plan to visit again. Wow! What a fabulous experience. I had some time in between appointments and Scotty’s was recommended by a nurse at PIH Whittier Hospital. Breakfast was delicious, perfect portion at a reasonable if/fair price. Coffee was delicious. The staff is super friendly and very customer service oriented. I am definitely going back again (and again).

We used to come here years ago. It was a tradition the breakfast who was particularly phenomenal. I recently went back a few weeks ago and the breakfast is still amazing. Staff is friendly. I recommend this cozy quiet cute little place if you’re in the area.

Scottys is a family owned restaurant, and very much serving diner style food and so much more! Come here and bring the family I'm more than positive you'll enjoy your food and feel as if your a part of the family as well. The service here is bar none some of thee best service you'll find here in Whittier CA ,straight up hospitality that you can't find anywhere else! Now your probably wondering what about the food?!
